getEnvironment

This subroutine emulates the C routine getenv, which returns the value of an environment variable.
Starting with release 3.60, it calls the F2003 extension subroutine get_environment_variable.

FORMAT

call getEnvironment( name, value )

ARGUMENTS

name & dimensionality	kind	in/out	description
name	CHR	IN	name of the environment variable
value	CHR	OUT	value of the environment variable

EXAMPLE:

use extension
character(len=128) :: healpixdir
call getEnvironment('HEALPIX', healpixdir)
print*,healpixdir

Will return the value of the $HEALPIX system variable (if it is defined)
